Received a B.A. in English and Music at John Carroll University. Worked in journalism and public relations fields before returning to North Carolina State University to earn M.S. in Communication. Currently, a 3rd-year PhD student in the Communication, Rhetoric & Digital Media program at NC State with a focus in visual rhetoric, design and visual communication.
What information do you hope to gain from the Visual Teaching Network?
I will be teaching a visual rhetoric course in the spring and I hope to gather ideas about assignments, resources, etc. I also hope to make connections with other people interested in and currently teaching visual communication courses.
