Introducing the PBS Digital Learning Library

The PBS Digital Learning Library is a public media system-wide repository of digital media learning objects, including videos, images, interactives, audios and documents. The PBS Digital Learning Library content will be easily searchable, tagged and correlated to state education standards.

The content from the PBS Digital Learning Library will be accessible through digital services offered by local PBS stations.

Today, a number of local PBS stations are offering digital education services featuring public media content, such as Teachers Domain and Thinkport. Many more local stations will be integrating content from the PBS Digital Learning Library and launching PBS Digital Learning Library supported services over the course of the 2009–2010 school year.

If you do not have a local station offering content from the PBS Digital Learning Library, you can access thousands of PBS program resources today on the PBS Teachers web site.

If you would like to be notified when local digital education services are offering PBS Digital Learning Library content, you can register - for free - as a PBS Teacher on pbsteachers.org to receive notification when your local station is offering a supported service.
