Visual Learning

At practice today one of our students strained a muscle in her thigh.  She continued to skate for a few more drills but the pain seemed to be getting worse.  She decided to get off the ice to rest her leg so that she wouldn’t injure it more.

I looked over to the bench a few minutes later and saw our young skater leaning over the boards and watching the practice intently.  I skated over to ask how she was feeling and she said, “Oh it still hurts a little but I thought I could still watch the practice and visually learn.”  It’s no wonder that this young hockey player is a star player!
