Professional Background

I have a Masters and Doctorate in art education, and have taught
middle school English and art, as well as college level art survey and
studio arts courses. Writing educational articles, papers and books
extends and supports my way of teaching, which combines drawing with writing. Currently, I am finishing a book for parents about scribbles.

What information do you hope to gain from the Visual Teaching Network?

I hope to gain more support for and insight into combining drawing with writing as a general method of delivery for all subject matter for children across age and abilities.
